The Lodge

Dillon's Gunsmoke Lodge is located in the small town of Brownville, Maine in Piscataquis County. It is located on the the interior region of the state well know for large moose and successful moose hunting. The Lodge is just a short 30 minute drive north from the LaGrange exit off Intersate 95. Gunsmoke Lodge provides easy access to Maine's remote lakes and forest for great moose hunting as well as the natural beauty of the northern reach of the Appalachian mountain chain.

Upon arrival you'll be greeted by Wayne Dillon, Registered Master Maine Guide, and his wife Grace. Our private/semi-private rooms are clean and comfortable. Each has it's own private bathroom. You'll be served 3 delicious and hearty home cooked meals, family style, each day. Delicious meals are also provided on remote hunts away from The Lodge.

Moose Hunting - 6 Day Moose Hunt

Wilderness Moose Hunts (Tent/Canoe) - $2,000.00
Guided Hunt with Meals and Lodging - $1,700.00
Do Your Own Moose Hunt ~ you will be pointed in the right direction)- $500.00
Non-Hunting Guests - $500.00

We cover the following zones from camp:

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 14, 18, & 17

We can ALSO do most zones by a remote wilderness hunt. That's a tent camp using canoes if possible.

$500.00 non-refundable deposit required

Hunt Prices include meals and lodging, but do not include Licenses , 7% Sales tax on Lodging and Meals or Land Use Fee

Arrive Sunday after 2:00 pm, depart the following Sunday by 8:00 am. Please, no early arrivals.
